WHY DOES AMORPHOUS FORM HAVE NO X-RAY PATTERN?

Don't abuse capital letters.
What matter property is responsible for these patterns? Do amorphous substances have this property?

WHY DOES AMORPHOUS FORM HAVE NO X-RAY PATTERN?
It is not exactly true amorphous compounds show no difraction. But of course they do not show such regular diffraction patterns as monocrystals.
see, eg classical book: A. Guinier, X-Ray Diffraction in Crystals, Imperfect crystals and Amorphous Bodies
