Title: Maple Syrup Chemical Composition
Post by: bigyou on February 27, 2005, 01:02:04 PM
Hi all

I actually know nothing about chemistry except what I learned in high school something like 7 or 8 years ago. So I need some help.

I'm currently designing a new packaging for maple syrup and I'd like to hace the chemical composition (don't know if it's the right way to call it) of it. Something like H20C3HD

I really don't know... Can someone give me a hand on this one ?

Thanks

Maple Syrup does not have a chemical composition.  It is a mixture of many different compounds, most notably water and sugar.  As a result, there is no chemical formula for it.  (It's akin to asking for the chemical formula of a human being.  It just doesn't exist).
