Title: Modified Arrhenius equation
Post by: sockalsi on February 14, 2008, 08:25:43 AM
Hi,
I am modeling volumetric species transport reactions in CFD. I am not clear of the units balancing in the modified Arrhenius equation. I have the unit of the pre-exponential factor as cm3/mol.s I want to know whether it is g.mol or kg.mol

Also the unit of forward reaction rate is cm3/mol.s but there is a temperature raised to a constant power on the right side of the equation. I am not sure how the units are balanced. Please let me know.

Thanks,
Subramani
