NaCl and CaCO3 together or seperate??? is there any precipitate
-
Both chemicals are white.
NaCl, as you SHOULD know, is common table salt.
-
NaCL is quite good soluble in water, whereas CaCO3 is insoluble
-
sodium chloride is water-soluble. calcium carbonate isnt. both compounds can be seperated by dissolution (Addition of excess of water), follow by filtration. calcium carbonate is obtained as the residue whereas sodium chloride solution is the filtrate. heat the filtrate to dryness to recover the sodium chloride salt.
