Title: concentration calculations
Post by: Manie28 on February 20, 2008, 06:51:34 AM
HI,

I am working with a certain colloid suspension (carboxylated latex particles, 1 µm diameter). The concentration is given as 2.67 % latex solids in 15 ml (4.55E10 particles per ml). What I´d like to know is how to give a value in g/l out from this given data.

Thanks for the help,
Manie28

Pretty much depends on what they weigh, doesn't it.  We solve this sort of   question all the time for solutes in water we know the composition of, but your description isn't really specific enough. :(
