What will be the different routes for making
 2- ethoxy benzoic acid.

There are tons of possiblities.

How is the ethoxy group attached?  Is it an ether or as a hydroxy group?

Conversion of the hydroxy group to the ethoxy group!

 is it really  epoxy or ethoxy ?  because formula similar.
