Title: Adding Copper to Cu(NO3)2

I need an explanation on why we dont have to do this reaction in our experiment. i know it will not produce a reaction, but I need an explanation for it? Anyone know a good one?

I'm not really sure what you are asking.  Adding copper to copper nitrate??
