Title: Demethylation by AlCl3 + Nitrobenzene

Dear Sir/Ma'am

What's the mechanism that AlCl3 + Nitrobenzene uses to de(alkyl)methylate ethers???

I have a theis over this subject that Nitrobenzene acts as an electron donor thereby increasing the effectiveness of the Lewis Acid AlCl3!!!
