Title: Diprotic acid problem
Post by: KansasCat7 on March 23, 2005, 06:14:35 PM
I am getting frustrated with this problem and was wondering if I could get some help.
What are the concentrations of HSO4-, SO42- and H+ in a .25 M KHSO4 solution given that H2SO4 is a strong acid and the Ka for HSO4- is 1.3x10-2?
Thanks...

Have you tried anything by yourself?

Think about the problem this way: you have a 0.25M solution af weak HA- acid with Ka = 1.3e-2...
