Title: Good solvent for polypropylene?

I realize its resistant to a lot of things, and so far the only common thing I have found is p-xylene... This is just for some silly tinkering project (Im in electrical engineering not chemical) Any ideas?

try hot ortho-dichlorobenzene (read msds)

well.. I guess the real trouble is I dont have a lab to work in, and the solvent I use needs to be something I can get a a hardware store, etc..   i would also like to avoid heating a volatile a flammable liquid!  The only problem I believe with the xylene is perhaps it's not polar enough to really dissolve a lot of the polypl.  :P

Dear Enigineeringman;

Nearly all what is soluble in Xylene (o-, m-, or p-) is also soluble in Toluene.
