Title: specific heat capacity of HCl

Hi,
I know your supposed to use the specific heat capacity of water for HCl...but my question is
WHY?

That’s only in one special Situation true!,  —  If you are Very, very diluted!
For all other Concentrations you may compare it with:  "Specific Heat Capacity of HCl (http://www.chemicalforums.com/index.php?topic=7926.0)”
