Title: oxidation of organometallics
Post by: superg on April 18, 2008, 09:45:02 AM
hello,
i've to oxidize some organometallic compounds with ferricinium salt, under dry N2 to avoid some oxidation from oxygen. actually i dissolve my compound in degas solvent, and add the ferricinium( disolve in a solvent) in the solution via a canula. is it the right manner to do? some people said to me to add directly the ferricinium salt as a solid in the schlenk with my compound...
bye
