Title: Total Organic Carbon

Hello! My problem concerns TOC. If a molecule contains not only carbon atoms, but nitrogen and oxygen atoms too, is it possible for nitrogen and oxygen atoms to disturb oxidation of carbon atoms? Used method of oxidation is UV/Persulphate.
