Title: Mass-Action Expression/concentration question
Post by: KrissyKat on April 06, 2005, 11:23:45 PM
COCl2(g) <> CO(g) = Cl2 (g)

K =8.2 x 10-2 at 672*C.

"What is the concentration of COCl2(g) in an equilibruim mixture if each product has a concentration of 1.2 x 10-2 mol/dm3?"

Is this set up right?:

8.2 x 10-2=[COCl2]/[1.2]-2 [1.2]-2

Thanks- Krissy Kat

K = [CO][Cl2]/[COCl2]
