Title: P & T affect humidity
Post by: aeroneb08 on July 06, 2008, 11:57:28 PM
I was wondering how Temperature and Pressure affect humidity. I want to calculate the moisture/humidity of a gas above water.

You mean saturated vapor?

I think saturated vapor pressure will be the pressure above the water but how do I calculate how much water is actually in the vapor?

I am trying to bubble air into a beaker with water. The incoming air is dry and as it leaves it should pick up some water. I am not sure how much water it is picking up though. And in order to control the amount of water in the air I can change either flow rate or temperature.
