Title: {PLEASE HELP}What is Glyceryl Isoprene Acetal??? I've looked everywhere
Post by: jianjing81 on July 10, 2008, 02:10:47 PM
The chemical is found in the eye tear film
It's from this papaer:

I've looked everywhere to see what glyceryl Isoprene acetal is but yet no clue....
I know isoprene=2-methylbuta-1,3-diene, and acetal is a molecule with two single bonded oxygens attached to the same carbon atom, and glyceryl probably contains glycerol, but don't know how to put them together
