Title: some gen chem review.
Post by: jras31 on August 30, 2008, 12:19:12 PM
Someone help.  I havent had gen chem in about 5 years.

1) what is the pH of 382 mM sodium acetate solution?

2)what is the pH of the above solution if 2.00mL of 12 M HCl were added?

3)The Ka at 25 degrees celsius for HF is 7.2x10^-4. What is delta G when the [HF]=[F-]=[H3O+]=0.1M? Will the reaction shift toward the products, reactants, or stay the same?

1/ Write the equation and Ka expression
2/ What will take place, calculate the concentration and then pH
3/ What is the relationship between K and dtG?
