Hello,

Does anyone have a link for the mechanism for the polymerisation of ethene?

I found

http://www.chemguide.co.uk/mechanisms/freerad/polym.html

but I don't understand it !

Found it here

Clive, glad you found what you were seeking.  If you wish to look into it even more, look under polyethylene, as it is more commonly known.  Free radical polymerization is a fun topic.
