Title: Effect of temperature on absorbance of light in transition metal complex

Hey can i ask what would different temperatures have as an effect on Potassium Permanganate and why? Is it because the higher the temperature the more excited the electrons are in the d-orbital such that more start transferring between them, but does this make the color darker or lighter?
