Title: Acrylic (plexi glass)

I'm new to the forum and hello to all!

I don't know that much chemistry, (only what I had to know for my exams) and I have a question regarding Acrylic (plexi). Is there any chemical that would sort of "eat into it" (pardon the n00b talk :P) and make it 'frosty' or cloudy, if you know what I mean.
