Dearest Friends!

I am looking for more particular information about the use of 2, 2-Bis (4-aminophenyl)-hexafluoropropane, organic element with CAS number 1095-78-9.

Please, if you know more where it is used? in what spheres and what for?

I will appreciate any information provided.

Thank you for suggestion. I tried MSDS, they provide Material Safety Data Sheet but nothing about its use :'(.
Any other ideas?

Often, people come on the boards with a CAS #, and a "what is it used for" question.  This is unfortunately, working backwards, and it is hard for us to help.  Ususally, you have an application in mind, and you're looking for a new reagent.  A little Googling on the name may help, but it may not if you don't have specific technical training.  Or there may be no info at all -- a CAS # means nothing, it just means that one was applied for, and was given out.  It doesn't mean the chemical is common, or useful, or that the use is known, outside of a patented application.

Hmmmm.  The bis amino analog of hexafluoro bisphenol A (Bisphenol AF).  Sounds like a material used in high performance polyurethanes or polyimides or polyamides.

There was another question, almost exactly like this one, someone just typed in a long chemical name, and want to find it's applications.  When I googled for it, I got sent to a patents page,  for creating conducting polymers or something like that.  I know nothing of that subject, so I didn't comment.  But maybe if we dredge up that qusetion, that poster can help this poster.

I wonder if there is any data available online(might be not free of charge of course ::)) where one could find the detailed information about chemical elements by CAS number. I need that for the research.
How wonderful would that be if there were any resources.

Just an idea, but, doing a google search of the CAS# gives a number of suppliers (admittedly most are Chineas, but hey).   couldn't you call the suppliers of the chemical and get more infomation from them? They might have technical data sheets available with more information regarding its usage.

That is what I suspected.  I'm calling attention to it to try to get the original posters to come clean about what their real question is.  Or, it it in some way a legitimate question, what they think they're going to accomplish.  Or maybe the forum regulars should just be aware there's a new flavor of troll around.  ::)

I was searching over the internet and finally asked MarketPublishers, Ltd. for help. They do chemical market research reports where also provide the information on CAS applications and usage.
