Title: Hi, new member saying.
Post by: joshuaeddy27 on April 29, 2009, 07:03:16 AM
Hi my name is josh and im an undergrad at IUPUI.  I'm dual majoring in math and chemistry, hoping to get into PChem or computational chemistry eventually.  please forgive any terrible spelling or typing mistakes; God knows i take them to new and exciting levels.

The main reason i even joined the board was to ask an opinion of others further in their careers than I.  I've had my head in my fourth point of contact for a year and tried to get just about every major in the school of science for some reason.  I've recently cut it back just to chem and math but in the process, was wondering what was best.  Is it better to get a large breadth of knowledge, taking a small hit in GPA, or just do the basic classes and fluff your GPA when considering grad school and beyond.

if this is in the wrong area please let me know and ill delete it and write it where its supposed to be.
