Title: amount ferroin of in Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction

How will adding more ferroin solution affect the oscillation cycle time in a Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction?  I expect more ferroin would speed the cycle time.  Isn't it a catalyst?
