Title: Where to find the chemistry job?
Post by: 2009nhan on June 18, 2009, 03:15:06 PM
I graduated BS in Organic chemisty and working for painting company (surface coating) for 10 years before immigranted the US.  Now I have some problem whether I should keep going on this career because I don't know where to find this kind of job.  I like this field where I worked as Quality control, and research and development for wood coating.  But it seem my BS can't be accepted here.  Pls. give me your advise.  Thanks a lot.

I suppose a BS can be a bit of a hinderance.  But, if you don't mind venturing out of that one specific area, you can find government jobs with state labs, universities, or national labs like the Centers for Disease Control.  You'd still get the element of quality control there.
