Title: partial reduction of nicotin acid ester !

Hi everybody !!!
What could be the possible reasons behind the partial as well as complete reduction of  Nicotinic acid ester ?

What do you understand complete reduction to be, in this case - there are several reducible functional groups in your molecule.

What is the product of complete reduction of the compound, in your view?

My concern is the quaternised pyridyl ring reduction using borohydrides.
