Title: balanced equation for titration problem
Post by: tiff27 on April 30, 2004, 07:54:18 PM
I have a problem, in a titration it took 37.92 ml of 0.166M NaOH to neutralize 25.00 ml of acetic acid.  I cannot figure out the balanced equation to show this!  Thanks!

-OH + H --------> H2O

More specifically:

NaOH + CH3COOH --> H2O + NaOOCCH3
