Title: New GPC Standards
Post by: putus on July 20, 2009, 10:58:04 PM
Putus Macromolecular Sci. & Tech. offers oat beta-glucan GPC standards with ultra high purity (97%), extremely narrow Mw polydispersity (1.01-1.10) and a fairly wide range of Mw available from 10,000 to 2,500,000 kDa.
Oat beta glucan is a plant polysaccharide consisting of beta-(1.4), beta-(1,3)-linked glucose with a linear chemical structure, and easily water soluble.

As you must know, the molecular weight of polymers largely influences their chemical, physical and physiological properties and applications, so it is fundamental to know the accurate molecular weight of polymers. People usually use Dextran or Pullulan to determine the molecular weight of polysaccharides, but it can sometimes leads to some inaccurate results due to the broad polydispersity of Dextran and Pullulan. As our oat beta glucan has very narrow polydispersity, it can give you the most accurate molecular weight determination of the market and is very suitable for the molecular weight determination of plant polysaccharides.

Our oat beta-glucan can also be used for biological activity study, Membrane characterization, cellulase activity test, beta-glucanase activity test, carbohydrate content determination, enzyme activity test, medicine coating, etc.

I kindly invite you to consult our website (http://www.putus.org) and to contact me for any extra information you may need.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
