I've been asked to construct methods to investigate the properties of alpha amylase. i know how to set up the experiment to test pH, temperature, Vmax.
But can someone give me some clues on how to test the effect of ionic strength and inhibition on the effect of amylase activity?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
