Title: Myoglobin and beta-lactoglobulin
Post by: hahahanna on August 18, 2009, 06:09:18 PM
Hi!

Im using myoglobin and beta-lactoglobulin as proteinstandards for CGE.
I have one question, why is myoglobin and beta-lactoglobulin two standards?
or, i know why myoglobin is it, i have found a report that says: Myoglobin have a low molecularweight and its very usefull as molevularweight marker to test the efficiency of the separation. But what about beta-lactoglobulin?? Do they use beta-lactoglobulin for the same reason??
