Title: True facts about Main-group elements?

I am stupid! I can not figure this out. Please help me to the core! Please!!! I picked ABD and it's wrong! :(

Which of the following are true for main-group elements ?

Use the general periodic trends you learned in class, not the experimental values from the figures in the text.
For questions that refer to ionization energy, consider only first ionization energies.

(a) Atomic radius tends to increase from top to bottom in a column of the periodic table.

(b) Electron affinity tends to become more negative from left to right across a row of the periodic table.

(c) The ionization energy of Si is greater than C

(d) The atomic radius of Ba is greater than Te

(e) The atomic radius of Na is greater than N

you must enter all true statements in one alphabetical lower case group,

e.g., if a) b) and e) are true you would enter abe

(a) is correct, assuming you mean that the atomic radii goes down group one for example: Li < Na < K < Rb < Cs
(b) is also correct, an atom that gains electrons readily has a high electron affinity.
(c)
(d) is correct
(e) Why did you cross it out?  :-X same principle here as (d)
