25cm3 of a 0.20M NaCl solution were mixed with 25cm3 of a 0.15M Pb(NO3)2 solution.
a. Calculate the chemical that was in excess
i don't know what to do plz explain how you do this type of equation

What do you know about solubility of chlorides?
-
all chlorides are soluble except pb hg and ag
-
sorry for the double post anyways i think i figured it out please tell me if am right
Pb2+(aq) + 2Cl- (aq) → PbCl2(S)
1 2
2.5 5
2.5 as pb is only 1 mole so thus 2.5 and because CL is 2 moles we double the 2.5 to make 5 resulting in
Pb2+ being in excess
Right or wrong?
