If you are given a 0.32 g piece of sodium metal to react with water, how many moles of HCl would it take to neutralize the sodium hydroxide produced?
I know that there are two equations you need to know and have balance
1. Na + H2O = NaOH + H
2. NaOH + HCl = NaCl + H2O
I just don't know what to do from there.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

First reaction is not correct - it should be H2 as a product.
How many moles of sodium used?
How many moles of NaOH produced?
How many moles of HCl required?
Do you know how to read reaction equation?
