Title: Catching up with chemistry..

   Hi, I am currently study math and physics and I am considering a switch over to geology and zoology ( so I can do paleobiology/paleontology in the future). I have never taken a chemistry course in high school or in university, I would need to find a book to read and catch up.. Is this a bit too far-fetched of a goal? I'll be reading out of Pauling's General Chemistry book.
