Title: Nitration with H2SO4 catalyst
Post by: IoanaD on October 18, 2009, 01:56:48 AM
In the nitration of benzene we use HNO3, and H2SO4 catalyst. The question is, why can't we use something like HCl to help form the nitronium ion?
