Title: Net Ionic Equation
Post by: molemole on October 19, 2009, 11:11:21 PM
I have a 0.060 M acetic acid solution. The pH at the equivilance point after titration with 0.100 M NaOH is 8.50. How would I write a net ionic equation that accounts for the formation of the excess OH ions? Thanks.

Hydrolysis (protolysis) of acetate ion.
