Title: Net Ionic Equations
Post by: Taylor08 on October 26, 2009, 10:48:29 AM
I would appreciate help on writing the net ionic equations for the following solutions. I have written a few equations, but I also would like to if I have those right. Thanks!

Aluminum Nitrate and Sodium Hydroxide

Al(NO3)3 + 3 NaOH --> Al(OH)3 + 3 NaNO3

Calcium Nitrate and Sodium Hydroxide

Ca+2 + 2OH- + Na+1 + NO3-1 --------------- > Ca(OH)2 + NaNO3

Calcium Nitrate and Ammonium Oxalate

Ca(NO3)2 + (NH4COO)2 = Ca(COO)2 + 2 NH4NO3

Copper (II) Nitrate and Sodium Hydroxide

Cu(NO3)2 + 2 NaOH -----------> Cu(OH)2 + 2 NaNO3

Copper (II) Nitrate and Potassium Hexacyanoferrate

Iron (III) Nitrate and Hydrochloric Acid

Iron (III) Nitrate and Potassium Hexacyanoferrate

Lead (II) Nitrate and Hydrochloric Acid

Pb2+(aq)  +  2 Cl‾ (aq)     PbCl2 (s)

Lead (II) Nitrate and Potassium Hexacyanoferrate

Ammonium Nitrate and Hydrochloric Acid

Ammonium Nitrate and Nitric Acid

NH3 +HNO3 ---- NH4NO3

Zinc Nitrate and Sodium Hydroxide

2 OH-(aq) + Zn(OH)2(s) ---> Zn(OH)4--(aq)
