Title: how to get electron configuration for molecules/compounds (ex: CoF2)

This is a bit urgent. I missed the week on this because I was elsewhere, and I have a test on it tomorrow.

Basically, I need to know the procedure (PROCEDURE) for obtaining the electron configuration (or diagram, whatever) for molecules. Please, not only simple molecules in examples.
