What is the proper procedure in staining blood smears with acridine orange?

that's exactly what i've done sir... but some of my slides having blood smears has its cells not so clearly stained. I dont know what went wrong. Will it be ok if i'll jus restain those slides?

To be honest I wouldn't know the last time I satined blood smears was in the 1980s (using H&E stain).

However, I wouldn't recommend restaining all of the slides at once. Try one or two first to see if they will take more stain.
