Title: Hot Press Sinter, Effect on Electronic Properties
Post by: JEMat on November 30, 2009, 11:27:48 PM
Hi,

I have a set of antimonide polycrystalline samples that are always degenerate semiconductors when sintered under normal conditions (no pressure, no binder, ~2/3 melting temp for a few hours), but when sintered under moderate uniaxial pressure and temperature, they became non-degenerate.

Any theories?

Thanks for any information.
