Title: High Energy vs Low Energy Molecules
Post by: atomickitty4460 on February 04, 2010, 07:12:39 PM
what are you really referring to when you say a molecule is high energy or low energy? for example, i've been told that ATP's (adenosine triphosphate) third phosphate has the highest energy (higher than the other 2 phosphates).  what does that really mean? what determines how much energy a molecule contains?

Thanks!
