chelating agents
what is the stronger chelating agent?
how can we dissolve barium sulfate ?
-
you didnt give any choices for chelating agents

i mean that amino acids are so strong but is there chelating agents which is stronger than them
also it is possible to dissolve barium sulfate by EDTA but is there ant other which is stronger than it to use it ?

check out the chelate effect and the macrocycle effect to see the increase in metal complex stability constants. some of the best ligands for group 1 and 2 metal ions are crown ethers.

aha good shot
but ???
isnt there any better way for dissolving Ba,Sr sparingly soluble cpds than chelating agents
