Post by: Saionji on August 14, 2010, 09:35:50 PM
I would like to know if the reactivity of these rings are diferent, because i can found nothing that could help this.

So, the two outside rings will have the same reactivity but the middle will be different. Frankly though, I'd suspect it to be a small difference.

You will not see any reactivity differences in this system

Since the middle will be equal ? Sorry, but why?

the system is completely conjugated.

Hmm, would that make all three rings entirely equal though? I'm now thinking, yes.

I did not know if you saw, but in the upper ring the ligation pi is on a different position. The reactivity is not equal because of it?
