Why is hydrogen peroxide prefer for the preparation of cobalt(III) acetylacetonate?
Preferred to what?

perfer over any other oxidising agent such as ozone?
Also, other than as an oxidising agent, what is the function of hydrogen peroxide in the cobalt acetylacetonate preparation?
