Title: Dilution
Post by: Baileys on October 03, 2010, 05:19:30 PM
My maths isn't particulary good when it comes to analytical chemistry. However, my question is this; I have a solution which needs to be diluted x200. How do I do this?

Would 0.5mL of the solution in 100mL flask be correct?

Is there a simple equation that can be used to work it out?

yes, add 500 uL and QS volume to 100 mL, mix well and voila!
