Title: Adiabatic process w/ Ideal Gas Question
Post by: AceTravis on November 02, 2010, 03:41:02 PM
If I have an adiabatic process with a monatomic ideal gas, can it be converted from 400K and 2atm to 100k and 1atm or is this process not possible? Why or why not?

Ideal Gas means PV=nRT holds. Adiabatic means q = 0. Ask yourself if what you've said is possible.
