Can anyone name me a Hydrogen Donor that cannot form hydrogen bonds or a hydrogen acceptor that accepts Hydrogen using a free pair of electrons that cannot hydrogen bond.
Edit: tbutyl lithium works but the first one is throwing me for a loop

Would sodium hydride count as a hydrogen donor?

Well, if you are looking for a proton donor that doesn't form H-bonds, HCl, HI, HBr could be some of the examples. But if its just Hydrogen ion (anion or cation not being the issue), then back to macman104.
