Title: what kind of cooling appratus can reach down to -108oC

Liquid nitrogen can take it down that far and a bit more, though I'm not sure what vessel you'd require.

If its just a cold bath your looking for, EtOH + liq N2 will get you there. Use a vacuum dewar and slowly add N2 to EtOH. I think a 50/50 solution should get you well past 100 C!
