Title: Asarone to TMA-2

is there an EASY way to convert asarone (from acorus calamus) into tma-2? without a lab?
what about mda?

Asarone is a bit of a b$*%( really, you might try a buffered performic, I believe it was labtop, or maybe methylman, or bright_star or someone like that, one of the more knowledgeable Bees, might of had results with buffered performic/peracetic, but standard performic/peracetic workups won't work on asarone.
