"Methanol is manufactured for use as a fuel for racing cars. It can be made by reaction between carbon monoxide and hydrogen:
CO(g) + 2H2(g) CH3OH(g); ΔH = –103 kJ mol–1

b Will a compromise be needed in the choice of temperature or pressure?"

My answer is no - if we lower temperature then K goes up (net forward reaction). If we increase pressure we get a lower volume => higher concentration of CH3OH.

Right? The answers just say 'temperature'.

If we increase pressure we get a lower volume

only at constant T, and if your volume is fixed (as it usually is), the temperature will go up in stead
