Title: Wich column for Lanthanum and Actinium
Post by: Anthe on September 28, 2005, 04:01:49 AM
Hi all.

Do Lanthanum and Actinium both belong to column 3, Cerium and Thorium to column 4 etc, and if so why is it mostly not clear in the graphics.
Or is it not that obvious where they belong.

Thanks,
Annemieke

Yes, I mean the Periodic table, should have been more clear.

They don't belong in column 3,4 though. They are part of their own series.

So it is not that eg Samarium and Plutonium are in the same column as Ferrum, Ruthenium and Osmium are?
